Role: The company is now looking to hire an experienced and innovative Flavourist or Senior Flavourist with proven track

record in creating, testing, and modifying flavours for savoury and/or sweet products, complying with safety regulations,

and monitoring industry trends.

Main Responsibilities

• Develop new recipes proactively and based on customer requests

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (RDA, marketing and production) to develop Savoury and/or Sweet flavour

profiles that will enhance products and appeal to consumers

• Create new and unique flavours using a variety of natural and synthetic ingredients

• Conduct tests and analyses to evaluate the taste, aroma, colour, and texture of flavours

• Adhere to food safety regulations and quality standards during the development and production of flavours

• Maintain accurate and detailed records of all flavour formulations

• Assist in sensory evaluations and tests to gather feedback on flavour performance

• Work closely with production teams to scale up flavour formulations for production

• Staying abreast of current trends in the food and beverage industry to create innovative and marketable flavours

Key Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Food Science, Chemistry, or a related field.

• Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in flavour development for sweet and/or savoury products in the food

and beverage industry.

• Excellent sense of taste and smell.

• Proficiency in sensory evaluation techniques.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• Experience with flavour formulation software is a plus.

• Experience with regulatory requirements for food products is a plus.
