Role: As Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving commercial growth across Sweden, Finland, and Norway

by managing and developing relationships with major food producers. This is a highly market-focused role, requiring a

strong technical and commercial mix.

You will work closely with key customers within functional dairy, functional beverages, and confectionery, leveraging your

deep understanding of customer applications, end products, and production processes. A core part of the role is engaging

directly with decision makers, managing projects from opportunity through to execution, and acting as a trusted partner to

established accounts.

This position suits someone with very specific regional market knowledge who already has strong relationships with major

players and is recognised as a credible, value-adding partner by their customers.

Main Responsibilities

• Manage and grow sales across Sweden, Finland, and Norway

• Sell technical, functional ingredients into industrial food producers

• Develop and maintain relationships with key decision makers at major customer accounts

• Support customers across functional beverages, functional dairy, confectionery, bakery, convenience, animal feed,

and related segments

• Lead and manage project-based sales activities

• Apply strong application knowledge of customer products and processes

• Drive solution-based selling rather than commodity sales

• Build long-term customer trust through technical and commercial expertise.

Key Requirements

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Food Technology

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Project Sales

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Food & Beverage Services

• Proven experience selling technical functional ingredients

• Solid experience working with major customers in Finland and Sweden (Norway advantageous)

• Strong background within functional dairy, functional beverages, and confectionery

• Established relationships with relevant customer decision makers

• Strong technical and commercial capability

• Comfortable working in a hybrid setting

• Deep regional market knowledge and customer-level experience

• Trusted by customers and recognised as a skilled industry professional.
