Role: The company is currently seeking a commercially minded Financial Lead & Deputy General Manager to join its team in Campinas, Brazil. The position will combine finance leadership with broader operational responsibility, acting as the key local bridge between the Brazilian operation and group headquarters.

The role will include ownership of core financial activities including reporting, cash flow and planning. However, the finance function itself is relatively streamlined, with accounting supported externally. As a result, the position requires someone who can operate beyond traditional finance management and develop a strong understanding of the business end-to-end.

The successful individual will play a key role in ensuring alignment, transparency and execution on the ground, while supporting the structure, coordination and scaling of the local organisation. This position would suit an individual who combines strong financial discipline with the ability to contribute to wider operational leadership and future country management.

Main Responsibilities

• Oversee core financial activities including reporting, cash flow management and financial planning
• Act as the key local point of connection between the Brazilian operation and group headquarters
• Ensure strong alignment, transparency and execution across local business activities
• Coordinate with external accounting support to ensure accurate and timely financial processes
• Develop a strong understanding of the business end-to-end, beyond the finance function
• Support broader operational coordination across the local organisation
• Provide financial insight and business visibility to support decision-making and local performance
• Help build structure, process and discipline as the Brazilian operation continues to mature
• Work closely with local and group stakeholders to support the continued development of the business
• Contribute to the medium-term scaling of the organisation and future general management capability

Key Requirements

• Proven experience in finance leadership, financial management or a related senior finance position
• Strong understanding of reporting, cash flow, planning and financial control
• Ability to operate beyond finance and contribute to broader operational leadership
• Experience working within an international business or reporting into group headquarters
• Strong communication skills with the ability to act as a bridge between local and international stakeholders
• Commercially minded, business-focused and comfortable working across multiple areas of an organisation
• Hands-on, structured and capable of supporting the development of a growing local operation
• Comfortable working with external accounting support and a streamlined internal finance function
• Strong organisational and coordination skills, with the ability to drive execution on the ground
• Based in Brazil or open to being 100% on site in Campinas
